2017 Bartholomew County Fair concert
Our gig at the Bartholomew County Fair is Monday, July 10, at the fairgrounds south of Columbus on Hwy. 11.
We’ll perform in the David Boll Theater, attached to the 4-H Community Building on the southwest end of the fairgrounds.
We’ll be under a roof and in the shade, but consider bringing or purchasing some water.
Anyone and everyone is invited to help load/unload at Central Middle School and at the concert site. If you didn’t get to grab one of the free-parking passes, helping load is a wonderful opportunity to hitch a ride with someone who did.
Where to be when
Load: 5:30 p.m. at CMS.
In seats: 6:30 p.m.
Downbeat: 7 p.m.
Reload and unload back at CMS.
Summer band attire
Band shirt or T-shirt of similar color.
Black pants/shorts/skirts and shoes.
Parking
If you were at the rehearsal when parking passes were handed out, they get you in free to the luxury spots close to the theater area. These are for band members only, absolutely NONTRANSFERABLE. Again, if you don’t have one, show up for loading at CMS and see if you can share a ride.
To get to the luxury spots: At the fairgrounds take the south entrance off Hwy. 11 and present your pass at the south gate, the one closest to the performing area.
