Bicentennial Torch Celebration in Columbus
The Bicentennial Torch Celebration in Columbus is this Sunday. The event itself starts at 2 p.m. Our part is from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. The torch program runs 7 to 8 p.m. Due to the booths and other displays, we need to get setup earlier than usual, giving us this timeline:
Load at CMS: 1:45 p.m
Unload: Off Lafayette Avenue/First Christian Church, done by 2:30 p.m., then need help getting chairs out of the church.
In seats: 4 p.m.
Perform: 4:30 p.m.-5:15 p.m.
Load truck/return chairs: Next group (Tim Grimm Family Band) performs at 6 p.m.
Unload at CMS: Afterward — with enough help (please and thank you), we should easily be able to get back in time to see the torch program.
Summer fashions:
Tops: Tan band polo shirts or close cousin.
Bottoms: Black pants/skirts/shorts and shoes.
Location:
The plaza in front of First Christian Church at 5th Street and Lafayette Avenue.
