Gallery: April 2024 Concert
This year’s spring concert at The Commons in Columbus, Indiana, featured works and performances by Thomas Day, Michael Ellis, professionally known Prolifik; the Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir; and Doug Pogue, who pulled off a typewriter solo.
We also named Jenna Boewe the recipient of our 2024 John A. Marshall Scholarship.

Jenna, who has played oboe with us the last two summers, studies animal sciences at Purdue University. She also plays violin, cello, oboe, English horn, bassoon, mandolin, mallet percussion, and mellophone. At Purdue, she participates in the All American Marching Band, Concert Band, Boiler Brass, and Boiler Box Band. She volunteers at Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators and the Columbian Park Zoo in Lafayette. City Band members and her Purdue directors give her high praise for her dedication to music as well as to the welfare of animals.
